Emails asking if our cannabis seeds are feminized or ‘regular’ are a regular occurrence here at The Real Seed Company.
If you’re after feminized seeds, you can find some over at our other site in the newly created category – Feminized.
There’s a nice range of classics there, including Skunk Special 90, plus a fem version of Freakshow, a pure CBD line called Lemon CBD, a killer Sativa cross – Colombia 90 x Michoacan 78 x Colombia Gold – and lots more.
The photo is from a customer and shows that Colombia 90 cross in late September, about 3 weeks from harvest, at 43° N. You can see the resin output in later flower at our Instagram.

At The Real Seed Company, we’re all about authentic landraces and biodiversity. Feminized seeds don’t work well with either focus.
Where possible, we aim to source seeds directly from farmers in the original source countries in Asia.
All the details of sourcing and any ex-situ maintenance are in the strain descriptions, so please read attentively.
To answer the original question more directly –
Farmers who cultivate cannabis landraces are typically in remote regions and from marginalized, impoverished communities.
These farmers are very definitely not producing feminized seeds.
We are very defintely not selling feminized seeds at this site either.
We do everything we can to provide accurate information here, where possible. Please make sure you read up as much possible before committing.
At the homepage and on the sidebar, you will see various categories such as Hindu Kush, Southeast Asia, or Landraces.
Each category has a preamble blurb designed to inform you about essentials for the various landrace types, particularly with regard to crucial characteristics such as cannabinoid profiles, potency, and purpose.
Some categories overlap, unavoidably, and at the Landraces category you will find a long intro about what cannabis landraces are and aren’t.
