Sativas vs Indicas in authentic cannabis landraces

Take a look at these photos showing the clear differences between Sativas and Indicas in real cannabis landraces. These were shot in mid-July at 40° N.

Above is a ganja landrace from Bokeo, NW Laos, collected by Angus.

Below is a charas landrace from Nangarhar, Afghanistan, collected by the Landrace Genetics team.

Classic Sativas like the landrace from Bokeo are tropical domesticates with centuries of individual selection for use as sinsemilla or semi-sensi.

The likely centre of origin in which Sativas were domesticated is the East Indies, specifically around the Bay of Bengal.
*
Classic Indicas are Central Asian domesticates with many centuries of bulk selection for use as dry-sieved resin.

The likely centre of origin for Indicas is eastern Central Asia, specifically Xinjiang and the eastern Pamirs.
