Fact is, the police or government are not the worst culprits here.

Anyone bringing modern hybrid seed to Nepal or Pakistan or SE Asia is responsible for dropping a nuclear bomb on the biodiversity of Cannabis.

Until good germplasm stores are established for Cannabis – the good old collections were destroyed in the USA – then this act of utterly short-sighted vandalism against Cannabis is not on the government.

To be clear, the image above shows how biodiversity is vanishing from Cannabis through cross-breeding. This isn’t great but it’s nothing like as destructive as the carnage created when the short-sighted or willfully ignorant bring modern hybrid seed to Asia.
