A large farmhouse cultivar from the Dhaulagiri (White Mountain) and Dorpatan region of Western Nepal, known as "bhongi" to local farmers. Dominant aromas are strongly citrus. Handrubbed charas is traditionally produced by farmers in the region for medicine and recreation. Charas is known as "atar" in the regional dialect and the local product gives a mild, pleasing and illuminating buzz.
